I completed my medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine at Semmelweis University. I then completed a specialization in neonatal and pediatric medicine in 2004 and neonatal and pediatric cardiology in 2007. I began working at the Gottsegen György Hungarian National Institute of Cardiology in 1999 and continue to work there on a part-time basis. I also work at the SOTE 2nd Women's Health Clinic. I am a member of various scientific associations (MKT – Hungarian Society Of Cardiology, board member; MGYT – Society of Hungarian Pediatricians; Fetal Medicine Workgroup; AEPC – Association for European Paediatric Cardiology; ISUOG – International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology). I provide comprehensive care for children born with a congenital heart defect (CHD) and also offer preparation for cardiology surgery, post-surgery care and regular outpatient care. My main field of interest is fetal cardiology ultrasound diagnostics, which involves the early detection of heart defects within the womb, including in the first trimester. I actively take part in theoretical and practical training held by her obstetrician and sonograph colleagues and I have also spoken at numerous conferences and congresses. I have worked in England, Canada and Germany. I speak Hungarian and English. I spend my free time with my children and enjoy reading, hiking and going to the theatre with them.
