I received my medical degree in 1987 from the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, before completing a specialization in psychiatry at Semmelweis University in 2002. 'Mens sana in corpore sano', meaning 'a healthy body in a healthy mind', was the motto that led me to choose psychiatry as my profession. I began her career at the 1st Surgery Clinic of Semmelweis University, before working as a resident doctor in the Semmelweis Psychiatry Clinic, where I completed a specialization in cognitive and behavioral therapy. Between 2002 and 2004, I was employed as a psychiatrist at the Semmelweis University Psychiatry Clinic, while also working part-time at the Home for People with Mental Disabilities and Psychiatric Patients in Tordas. Between 2006 and 2008, I worked as the chief psychiatrist in a psychiatric outpatient institute in Bora, Sweden. I then worked as a psychiatrist at the Szigetszentmiklós Medical Clinic while also continuing to work in Sweden. From 2012 to 2018, I worked as chief psychiatrist in Sweden in various institutions providing outpatient psychiatric care (Skene, Karlskrona, Vaxjö and Kalmar). During my professional life, I have had the opportunity to deepen her knowledge of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar conditions and mania, various anxiety-related disorders including panic disorder, generalized anxiety, social phobia and also mixed anxiety-depressive disorder. I speak Hungarian, Swedish, English and Romanian. I enjoy spending her free time with my family and dogs. I also exercise regularly to help maintain a balance between body and soul. I enjoy reading both books related to my profession and literature.
