I graduated from Semmelweis Medical University in 1970. I am a board certified pediatrician, neurologist and pediatric neurologist. I spent two months with a Finnish scholarship in the Pediatric Clinic of Turku Medical University. Between 1970 and 2005, I worked at Heim Pál Children's Hospital. I currently work in the Neurology and Epilepsy Department of the Buda Children’s Hospital of Szen János’s Hospital in Budapest. I was titular assistant professor of the International Pető Institute. My main field of interest is epilepsy and the developing brain. Since 2001, I became a trainer of the European Epilepsy Academy (EUREPA). I was the president of the Hungarian Epilepsy League (Hungarian Chapter of the International League Against Epilepsy), and I am currently a member of the management team. I speak Hungarian, English and German. I enjoy music, books, fine arts and traveling in my spare time.
