I graduated from the University of Medicine in Debrecen in 1980 with a medical degree, awarded summa cum laude. I obtained my specialist qualification in obstetrics and gynaecology in 1986, followed by a specialist qualification in anaesthesiology and intensive care in 1990. Throughout my medical career spanning more than four decades, I have gained extensive professional experience in both Hungary and Sweden. I worked in Hungarian healthcare institutions for twenty-eight years, primarily in Miskolc and Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County. During my career in Hungary, I also served as Head of Department, combining patient care with responsibility for overseeing the department’s clinical work. I subsequently practised medicine in Sweden for twelve years, where I worked as a consultant.

In obstetrics and gynaecology, alongside general gynaecological care and screening, I have gained considerable experience in performing colposcopy examinations and identifying and diagnosing cervical abnormalities. My approach to medicine has been shaped by decades of clinical practice and the international experience I gained in Sweden. Throughout my career, I have always placed great importance on continuing professional development and on learning about and adopting new diagnostic and treatment options.

In my free time, I most enjoy being with my family. Activities and moments shared with my grandchildren bring me particular joy and help me recharge in everyday life.
