Genital Plastic Surgery

Genital plastic surgery can help by ending conditions that cause unpleasantness, discomfort, sexual psychological problems, or even anxiety. Esthetics and functionality cannot exist to each other’s detriment, so it is important to strike a balance.

Genital Plastic Surgery
  • Vaginoplasty: This generally becomes necessary after childbirth or due to ageing, when the vagina becomes too loose. The aim of surgical vaginoplasty is tightening of the vagina, which can increase the woman’s sexual sensitivity (thereby improving the quality of her sex life), and in some cases can cure incontinence, as well as help avoid other nuisances resulting from a loose vagina. In every case, we recommend intimate training in preparation for or to supplement the surgery, in order to treat the problem comprehensively.

  • Labiaplasty on the labia minor: Currently one of the most frequently performed genital plastic surgeries, the reasons for which are usually pain due to enlarged size, discomfort during sports activities or sexual intercourse, or sometimes esthetic dissatisfaction. Two types of surgical procedures can be helpful in these types of situations. With the trim method, the labia minor are essentially completely removed so as to be level with the vaginal opening, which in many instances also ends their beneficial function, so this procedure can only be used in cases where there are strong reasons for it. The other method is the wedge method, in which a V-shaped incision is used to remove the extra tissue.

  • Labiaplasty on the labia major: Problems with the labia major can also result from size and weak connecting tissue. Enlargement can be unpleasant not only for hygienic reasons, but also during sexual activity. Esthetically, protrusion can be bothersome when wearing underwear and tight clothing. There are also cases when pain in the affected area occurs during physical activity. During surgery to reduce the size of the labia major, extra skin and fat tissue is removed.
