About me
I graduated in Semmelweis Medical University and have remained in academic medicine ever since. I have completed specializations in rediatrics, radiology and pediatric radiology. I am an associate professor of pediatrics at Semmelweis University. My academic achievements are numerous: I have authored over 131 original articles in international and Hungarian medical journals, and eight chapters in medical textbooks, and have edited two books about pediatric radiology. I am the member of various national and international professional bodies. I have spent some time in Heidelberg and in Toronto at the pediatric radiology departments, and from 2004 I worked several times in Tanzania, India and Cambodia as a volunteer, teaching radiology.
My main field of interests are abdominal and chest pediatric radiology, mainly kidney diseases, Xray, ultrasound, CT and MRI, baby hip screening. My responsibilities include teaching medical residents, medical students and the nursing staff. I am a member of the European Society of Paediatric Radiology. I speak English and German.
I have two children, her daughter is an artist manager, my son is a medical doctor. In my spare time I enjoy reading, listening music and meeting friends.
