I was born and raised in Budapest. Upon completing my medical degree and PhD at Semmelweis University Medical School, I went on to complete my Hungarian residency at the school. I completed a second residency at the Department of Internal Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. Thereafter, I completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Washington University Medical School, St. Louis, MO. I have several published papers in prestigious American medical journals (such as the New England Journal of Medicine).
Currently, I am a hematologist and internist at RMC. I previously taught at Molecular Hematology Laboratory at Semmelweis University Medical School. I am fluent in Hungarian, English and German. I am board certified in both hematology/oncology and internal medicine in both the US and Hungary.
I am married and have two daughters.
