About me
I graduated summa cum laude in 1977 from Semmelweis Medical University, Budapest. I then entered a highly competitive residency program in Orthopedics at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery of Semmelweis University. Subsequently, I sub-specialized in pediatric orthopedic surgery, and have held a senior position at the Heim Pál Children's hospital since 1985. I am formally trained, and have vast experience in hand surgery, internal fixation (so-called AO or ASIF) techniques for the surgical treatment of bone fractures, arthroscopy, sports medicine and rehabilitation, and surgical corrective techniques for length discrepancy of the extremities in children. Surgeon in multiple small towns around Hungary. My international experience includes training courses in pediatric orthopedics in Toronto, Canada, and Munich, Germany. I have been the chief sports doctor for the football club MTK since February of 2015. I am board certified in orthopedics, and speak fluent English and German in addition to Hungarian.
