I graduated in Debrecen in 1997 and obtained my board certification in Urology in 2003. Following my university studies, I joined the Department of Urology in Nyíregyháza, one of Hungary’s longest-established and most renowned urology departments, where I completed my clinical training. I quickly gained extensive experience in general urological care and surgical procedures, and after obtaining my specialist qualification, I focused on urological oncology surgery. Following a professional training period in Austria, I mastered laparoscopic surgical techniques and played an active role in introducing this method within our department. I subsequently became the leader of the newly established laparoscopic tumor team, and together we successfully performed numerous advanced laparoscopic procedures with excellent outcomes. I remained in this position until May 2011 and was promoted to Assistant Professor during this time.

After 14 years of service, I moved to the United Kingdom, where I worked as a Consultant Urologist at the Royal Blackburn Hospital. I was actively involved in the hospital’s radical oncological surgical program and performed a significant number of radical prostatectomies for prostate cancer using laparoscopic techniques, as well as radical cystectomies for bladder cancer. I also carried out a large number of pediatric urological procedures and led outpatient clinics at two regional hospitals. In addition, I participated in the training and education of junior urologists in the UK. After one and a half years in England, I returned to my former workplace in Nyíregyháza in October 2012. Between March 2016 and July 2025, I served as Head of the Department of Urology in Nyíregyháza.
