I am Rita Gyánti, M.D., specialist surgeon and proctologist. I graduated from Semmelweis University in 2001 and obtained my surgical board certification in 2008. I spent several years in the United Kingdom in various institutions, as well as in Germany, specializing in coloproctology and colorectal surgery (colon and rectum), in order to master modern surgical techniques and become familiar with international clinical protocols. During my years abroad, my fluent English skills also continued to develop.

Proctology – anorectal surgery – has been my most dedicated and continuously evolving field of expertise since the beginning of my medical career, thanks to its complexity, which encompasses not only surgery but aspects of dermatology, gastroenterology, venereology, internal medicine, and more.

In recent years, I have focused on building my own medical practice while continuing to expand my proctological knowledge. I have also completed European training programs where I learned rectal ultrasound examination techniques. With the high-quality equipment available at RMC, including a newly acquired ultrasound device, I am able to provide painless, precise diagnostics and high-standard care for patients presenting with anorectal complaints.
