About me

From an early age, I was fascinated by the world of medicine—the white coats, laboratory equipment, and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. I was constantly experimenting, trying to understand how the human body works and how diseases can be treated. For me, there was never any doubt that medicine was the profession I wanted to pursue.

During my medical studies, I became involved in scientific research at an early stage, joining the Vascular Surgery Research Group at the 1st Department of Surgery. Under the mentorship of Dr. Attila Szijártó, I developed a mindset that continues to shape my work today: the best clinical decisions are always based on scientific evidence. After graduating from medical school, I continued my research as a PhD student, and research remains an integral part of my daily professional life. My current work focuses on the clinical application of homografts—veins and arteries obtained through transplantation—which have the potential to expand the treatment options available in vascular surgery.

For several years, I have been practicing at VP-Med Health Centre, where I specialize in the modern treatment of venous diseases. In my daily practice, I use the latest minimally invasive and non-invasive technologies, including endovenous laser treatment and Sonovein®, Hungary's first and only non-invasive, focused ultrasound treatment for varicose veins. I believe that successful vascular surgery is not only about surgical technique but also about ensuring that every patient receives the right treatment at the right time. Not every vascular condition requires surgery, and establishing the correct indication is just as important as the procedure itself.

Alongside medicine, sport is my other great passion. I exercise regularly and am also a qualified sports coach and personal trainer. I firmly believe that regular physical activity and a healthy lifestyle are among the most effective tools for preventing vascular diseases and managing existing conditions. Every day, I see how many serious health problems could be prevented through lifestyle changes. My goal is not only to treat my patients but also to help them develop sustainable habits that support their long-term health and enable them to remain physically active safely—even with cardiovascular disease.
