I completed my general medical studies at the University of Debrecen. I completed a specialization in neonatology and pediatrics at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in the United States. I then completed further training in infectious diseases in New York Presbyterian Hospital and Cornell University. I began my working life as a trainee doctor in Miskolc in 1993 and later relocated to the United States. Between 2002 and 2006, I worked as an infant specialist and pediatrician in both Hungarian and international institutions, before working as a pediatrician from 2006 to 2019 for the Pediatric Group of Acadiana and LLC in Lafayette, Lousiana, and also as a consultant for infections in children at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. I have taken part in numerous American conferences and authored and co-authored several publications in both English and Hungarian. My main fields of interest include general pediatric medicine, the diagnosis, treatment and care of infectious diseases through evidence-based medicine, and the application of individually tailored treatment. I speak fluent Hungarian and English.
In my spare time I enjoy the culinary arts, music, numismatics and history.
