After finishing secondary school, I attended Semmelweis University, from which I graduated summa cum laude in medicine in 1994. During my university years, I spent several months at noted universities abroad as a member of student exchange programs (Germany, the Netherlands, Greece).
After finishing medical schooI, I started to work as a resident in the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine at the Semmelweis University Medical School, where I completed specializations in internal medicine (2000) and endocrinology (2002). In 1998, I spent six months in the USA (Northwestern University, Chicago) doing research in the field of bone metabolism. Between 2004 and 2008, I worked at the Department of Isotope Diagnosis, Treatment and Internal Medicine at the Petz Aladar County Teaching Hospital in Győr. In 2006, I completed a specialization in nuclear medicine. In Győr, besides isotope diagnosis, I also cared for a high volume of outpatients with thyroid disease. In 2007, I became the head of the department. My next project invloved heading up the Budapest headquarters of ScanoMed Medical Diagnostic, Research and Education Ltd. (former PET-CT Ltd).
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two sons, playing basketball, swimming, bicycle riding, and hiking.
