I obtained my primary medical qualification in 2002 at Semmelweis University, Budapest. I began working in the ENT Department at Jahn Ferenc Hospital in 2006 and completed my ENT Training in 2009. In 2010, I received a Full and Specialist Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC UK) and worked in various healthcare facilities throughout the UK. In 2017, I was awarded a Diploma of Membership in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (DOHNS) from The Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCSEn). In 2019, I successfully passed the European Board Exam in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (FEBORL-HNS ). I have extensive experience of treating adults and children.
I am currently working part-time as a Speciality Doctor in ENT at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital, where my commitments include a busy outpatient clinics and day case surgery (30-40 cases/month). I am fully aware of professional trends and guidelines, and regularly expand my knowledge by attending courses and conferences. I strive to provide clear, understandable information for the patients. By understanding a disease fully, the patients are able to identify what is the best treatment option in each situation. Teaching is also an important part of my work, both in Hungary and abroad. Beyond my medical work, I am also a keen sportsman. I enjoy skiing and am also a pioneer of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Hungary. I won a silver medal in BJJ at the European Championships in 2010 and I hold an international referee certificate. Beyond Hungarian, I am also fluent in English, Russian and Portuguese.
