I was born and raised in Hungary, and I am a graduate of Semmelweis University Medical School as well as the College of Health Sciences (degree in Physical Therapy). I completed an internship in internal medicine in 1996 at the Metropolitan Hospital Medical Center (New York Medical College) in New York City.

Thereafter, I served a three-year residency in Pediatrics at the same hospital, where I earned the Best Intern of the Year Award. I am a US board-certified pediatrician. I lived in London, UK for two years, where my first child was born. I returned to Hungary in 2002.

My husband is American, and we live in Budapest with our three young sons. I enjoy cooking and swimming in my spare time.
